• Location: Sofia, Bulgaria.

• Experience:10 yrs

• Position: Permanent 

II. Purpose of the position TECHNOLOGIST

Organizes the work process and staff in accordance with the production plan, the approved technology, the production quality requirements and approved company rules and procedures. Manages and reports on the input of raw materials and materials, the production output, the yields and losses.

III. Main responsibilities and duties of the position:

1. Organizes, monitors and is in charge of the proper execution of technological processes in accordance with the production plan, by coordinating the processes.

2. Manages work schedules and fills in employee attendance forms work, in accordance with production plan.

3. Responsible for organizing and coordinating the work of the staff according to their job duties and the requirements of the production process. Allocates tasks to the employees, and instructs them on the quantities that have to be produced according to the production plan and in compliance with quality Standards. 

4. Compiles a technological card outlining the technological process parameters by product type and provides it for implementation to the Master.

5. Monitors and controls compliance with the established production technology according to certain parameters consistent with the product technological documentation and regulatory requirements.

6. Controls and manages the quality of the production during all the production stages, up to cutting and packaging

7. In case of issues connected with technological deviations or quality, takes measures to eliminate those and assigns them to the Masters for implementation.

8. In the event of a breakdown, takes decisions concerning intermediate and finished products in order to ensure their quality and assigns them to the staff for implementation

9. In case of changes in the production plan during the work shift, regroups and reorganizes the productions in all stages, giving the relevant instructions to the Masters.

10. Controls requests for raw materials and materials according to the production program and monitors their implementation.

11. Responsible for the consumption of raw materials and materials according to established technologies.

12. Performs constant assessment of processes based on the results of laboratory analyses.

13. Responsible for the accountancy of the production process - the timely and correct completion of all required documents and information in the software used for the technological process flow, for raw material input, material input, production quantity, defects.

14. Responsible for the quality and yields of manufactured products and their compliance with established standards

15. Conducts activities to improve the quality of finished products and reduce losses/defects.

16. In the event of a customer complaint, participates in the investigation of the causes and provides a resolution

17. Bears material responsibility for all raw materials, finished products, as well as for the technical equipment located in the production workshops.

18. Responsible for maintaining the hygiene of machines, facilities and equipment in the production unit.

19. Monitors the proper operation of equipment.
