Working days - 5 days ,Last Saturday is working 

Office Timing - 9.30 am to 6.00 pm

Reporting - NPD Head

 

1) PURPOSE:

 

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Junior Executive in the NPD Department who will be responsible for managing all documentation and coordination activities related to new product development. The candidate should have a sound understanding of quality tools and documentation control processes, ensuring all NPD records are accurately maintained and aligned with quality and production standards.

 

2) RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • · Manage and maintain all NPD-related documentation such as BOM, drawings, change notes, development reports, and approval records.

  • · Coordinate with design, quality, production, and purchase teams for smooth project execution and status updates.

  • · Ensure all engineering change notes (ECN) and related documents are updated, controlled, and communicated effectively.

  • · Assist in product feasibility analysis, prototype development documentation, and sample approval records.

  • · Maintain records of customer specifications, approvals, and revisions for ongoing and new projects.

  • · Support NPD engineers in preparing PPAP, APQP, FMEA, Control Plans, and other quality-related documents.

  • · Monitor project timelines, update status sheets, and assist in progress reviews.

  • · Ensure compliance with ISO / IATF documentation standards and company policies.

  • · Work closely with the Quality Department to ensure adherence to defined quality tools and procedures during product development.

 

3) JOB SPECIFICATION:

 

  • · Diploma / Graduate in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.

  • · 4 + years of experience in NPD or related documentation roles in an automotive / manufacturing company.

  • · Good understanding of Quality Tools like 7 QC Tools, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, and 5S.

  • · Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and document management systems.

  • · Strong organizational and coordination skills with attention to detail.

  • · Good communication and interpersonal abilities for cross-functional collaboration.
