We are hiring for one of our esteemed clients who is inDubai based architectural and interior design projects company for the below mentioned position.

Designation:Senior Architectural Lighting Designer

Location:Remote

Experience: 8 to 10 yrs

We are looking for an exceptional Senior Architectural Lighting Designer with 8–10 years of professional experience to join our team and lead the lighting design development of high-end international projects.

This is not simply a lighting calculation or product-selection position.

We are looking for a highly creative and technically experienced lighting designer who understands how light can transform architecture, interiors, landscape and hospitality environments.

THE ROLE

You will develop and manage architectural lighting design for projects including:

• Luxury villas and private residences

• 5-star hotels and resorts

• Hotel rooms, suites, lobbies and public areas

• Restaurants, lounges and F&B concepts

• High-end residential developments

• Landscape and outdoor environments

• Building façades and architectural features

• Wellness, spa and leisure areas

You will be involved from concept design through detailed design and project delivery.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop complete architectural lighting concepts and design narratives

• Establish lighting hierarchy, ambience and visual identity for each project

• Prepare concept presentations, mood boards and lighting strategies

• Develop lighting layouts and reflected ceiling plans

• Select appropriate luminaires, optics, beam angles and distributions

• Define CCT, CRI, output and other technical performance requirements

• Develop lighting details and coordinate integration with architecture and interiors

• Review and guide lux calculations and photometric studies

• Develop luminaire specifications and fixture schedules

• Prepare and review lighting BOQs

• Coordinate lighting controls, dimming and scene-setting requirements

• Coordinate with architects, interior designers, landscape designers, MEP consultants and other disciplines

• Review technical submittals and proposed lighting alternatives

• Provide design guidance to junior lighting designers and calculation operators

• Maintain design intent throughout the complete project

EXPERIENCE

8–10 years of professional architectural lighting design experience is required.

Candidates should have a strong portfolio demonstrating completed or developed projects in areas such as:

Luxury Residential • Hospitality • Hotels & Resorts • Restaurants • Landscape •

Façades • High-End Interiors

Experience working on Middle East / GCC or international projects will be considered a strong advantage.

TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE

Strong knowledge of:

• DIALux Evo and/or Relux

• AutoCAD

• Adobe Photoshop / InDesign / presentation software

• Knowledge of Revit, BIM, SketchUp, 3ds Max or other visualization tools will be

considered an advantage.

Candidates should have a strong understanding of:

• Photometry and IES/LDT files

• Lux levels and uniformity

• Glare and visual comfort

• Beam distributions and optical systems

• Colour temperature and colour rendering

• Lighting controls and dimming protocols

• Architectural lighting details

• Relevant international lighting standards
