Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Operation Manager to manage day-to-day plant operations for a transformer/power equipment manufacturing facility. The role will be responsible for coordinating Production, QA, Testing, Stores, PPC and Dispatch while ensuring production targets, quality, safety and manpower requirements are effectively managed.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage overall plant operations and ensure smooth production.

• Plan and monitor production as per targets and delivery schedules.

• Coordinate with Production, QA/QC and Testing teams.

• Oversee Stores, PPC and Dispatch coordination.

• Monitor production KPIs, productivity and operational targets.

• Manage manpower deployment and team performance.

• Ensure timely availability of materials and resources.

• Identify production bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.

• Ensure compliance with plant safety procedures.

• Prepare and review production and operational reports.

• Improve productivity, efficiency, quality and delivery performance.

Required Skills

• 5–10 years of experience in plant operations/manufacturing.

• Preferably from transformer, electrical equipment or power equipment manufacturing.

• Strong experience in production planning and plant coordination.

• Good understanding of QA, testing, PPC, stores and dispatch functions.

• Strong manpower handling and leadership skills.

• Experience in KPI monitoring and achieving production targets.

• Good problem-solving, coordination and communication skills.
