Reporting to: This position reports to Director - Sales and Business Development, South Asia and Middle East, and further to Senior Vice President - Sales and Operations at Hong Kong headquarter..
Roles & Responsibilities:
-
· Lead the team and oversee the full functions of Operations and Sales team;
-
· Manage and enhance team performance to deliver budget and meet with business objectives, ensure required results can be achieved effectively and efficiently;
-
· Deliver agreed KPIs (key performance indicators) of the operations, such as total customer satisfaction in total product quality (Q), cost of manufacturing (C), on-time delivery (D) and valued engineering service (E); take P&L responsibility and manage working capital;

· Formulate business strategies and execute key initiatives for the business in alignment with overall Group directions; Facilitate and ensure efficiency and saving are aligned with management agreed terms;

· Responsible for revenue maximization and production optimization in terms of enhancement of production efficiency, minimization of down time and change over time, mitigation of ratio between staff and workers etc.;

· Meet Overall Equipment Efficiency targets; Identify areas where automation and/or digitalization could significantly improve the process and work with Operations/IT to develop plans to deliver;

· Engage with Sales and Operations team to ensure effective S&OP process;

· Provide a safe working environment and ensure all safety standards are followed;

· Ensure sustained compliance with ARC and other external audits are passed;

· Create a positive work environment in the factory involves several key elements and strategies aimed at enhancing employee satisfaction and overall morale;

· Perform any additional activities as assigned.
Qualifications:
-
· University Degree in Business Management, Manufacturing/ Industrial Engineering, Electronics or related disciplines;
-
· Not less than 15 years solid experience in electronics manufacturing industry (especially in RFID-related field), with at least 10 years in managerial level; Proven track record in operations improvement with significant business growth; Experience in running business of at least 20 million USD and a plant size of 300 – 400 people strength

· Excellent knowledge in manufacturing/RFID production engineering, material and production planning and plant/operations management;
-
· Be well-acquainted and aligned with established RFID market players and industry networks.

· Strong English communication and interpersonal skill in enhancing collaboration and relationship across business, function and operation units;
-
· Good business acumen (with strong sense of sales and client servicing) and versatile in problem solving and decision making;

Role Overview & Expectations

Overall responsibility for managing the India business, including sales, marketing, customer service (Gurgaon office) and production operations (Tirupur site)

Clients across India, ISC region, and global retailers in Europe & the Americas

Strong leadership in change management, team management, and business growth

Designation is flexible and may be considered as General Manager / National Manager / Country Head, based on profile suitability
Industry Background

Manufacturing sector with focus on printing, labelling, packaging, and traditional RFID technology (labels & tags)
-
Preferred exposure to competitors such as Avery Dennison, CCL Industries (Checkpoint Systems), Trimco Group, Nexgen Packaging, etc.
