We are hiring for one of our esteemed clients who are into manufacturing and distribution flexible packaging for the below mentioned position.

• Designation:  IT Manager

• Location: Ndola, Zambia, Africa

• Experience: 7 yrs as a Manager

• Position: Permanent 

• Qualification :Graduate (B.Tech / BS / BE), preferably from Computer Science subject

Key Responsibilities

Process & Compliance

• Manage information technology and computer systems, ensuring seamless functionality of networks, servers, and hardware.

• Manage ERP system by ensuring its proper functioning and resolving the errors in reporting, if any.

• Prepare and manage the annual IT department budget to ensure cost-effectiveness and efficiency.

• Implement and monitor robust security measures (e.g., firewalls, access controls) and maintain disaster recovery and data backup plans.

• Plan, organize, and determine timelines for major IT projects, such as system migrations, upgrades, or software rollouts.

• Update and maintain records properly to ensure data integrity is maintained.

• Ensure the implementation of SOPs with respect to IT security system throughout the company.

• Periodic backups and retention of records in soft copy.

Requirements

Qualification

Graduate (B.Tech / BS / BE), preferably from Computer Science subject OR

Equivalent qualifications.

Experience

• Minimum 7 years of experience as a manager.

• Preferably from the Flexible Packaging Industry.

Skills Required

• Positive attitude and eagerness to learn.

• Career/goal-oriented mindset.

• Strong communication and leadership qualities.

• Excellent follow-up with concerned departments.

• Good knowledge on ERP system, preferably on SAP

• Computer knowledge with respect to Hardware / software.
