Job Description

We are looking for an experienced IT Head to lead and manage the complete IT function for our Lighting Manufacturing Division. The role will be responsible for IT strategy, infrastructure, ERP systems, cybersecurity, digital transformation, and technology support across manufacturing and corporate operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the overall IT strategy aligned with business and manufacturing objectives.
• Lead IT infrastructure, networks, servers, cloud systems, hardware, and software operations.
• Manage and optimize ERP/MIS systems supporting manufacturing, supply chain, procurement, finance, inventory, and sales.
• Drive digital transformation and automation initiatives across manufacturing operations.
• Ensure smooth integration of IT systems with production, warehouse, supply chain, finance, HR, and other functions.
• Manage cybersecurity, data protection, access controls, backups, and disaster recovery.
• Oversee IT vendors, technology partners, contracts, and budgets.
• Identify and implement technology solutions to improve operational efficiency and productivity.
• Ensure system availability, business continuity, and timely resolution of IT issues.
• Establish IT policies, processes, governance, and compliance standards.
• Lead and mentor the IT team and manage external IT service providers.
• Evaluate new technologies and recommend solutions suitable for the manufacturing environment.
• Support management with IT dashboards, MIS, analytics, and business intelligence.
• Ensure IT systems are scalable to support business growth and new manufacturing initiatives.
• 15+ years of experience in IT, with significant experience in manufacturing organizations.
• Experience handling IT operations for a manufacturing plant/division is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of ERP systems, IT infrastructure, networking, cybersecurity, cloud, and enterprise applications.
• Experience in digital transformation, automation, and technology implementation.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, supply chain, inventory, procurement, and production systems.
• Proven experience in leading IT teams and managing technology vendors.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Bachelor's/Master's degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

Candidate Profile

Preferred: Candidates from Lighting, Electrical, Electronics, Engineering, Auto Components, FMCG, or other manufacturing industries will be considered.
