Role Overview

We are seeking a visionary and experienced Director – Head of Commercialization IT to lead and transform large-scale technology operations within the pharmaceutical commercial IT domain. This role requires a senior leader with a minimum of 15 years of experience and a proven ability to manage and inspire large teams of over 100 professionals.

The successful candidate will play a critical role in driving CRM modernization, data transformation, omnichannel enablement, and AI-driven commercialization solutions while building a culture of innovation, agility, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead multiple technical pods, ensuring alignment with commercialization priorities and high-quality delivery across regions
• Drive an agile, innovative, and performance-driven culture across teams
• Architect and lead Hyderabad’s next phase of transformation, focusing on CRM, data modernization, and omnichannel field enablement
• Design and execute data consolidation and modernization strategies to support advanced analytics and business insights
• Lead AI/ML initiatives, including predictive models, personalization engines, and intelligent automation
• Build and scale high-performing data and analytics teams
• Oversee technology operations, workforce planning, hiring, performance management, and training
• Ensure technology programs align with business goals and deliver measurable value
• Own performance dashboards and success metrics tied to commercialization outcomes
• Provide technical leadership to ensure systems are secure, scalable, reliable, and modular
• Collaborate with global stakeholders and mentor senior and junior team members
• Minimum 15 years of experience in pharmaceutical commercial IT or related enterprise technology environments
• Proven experience managing large, multi-disciplinary teams (100+ members)
• Strong expertise in CRM platforms, data modernization, analytics, and digital enablement
• Experience driving AI/ML initiatives in commercial or enterprise environments
• Strong leadership, communication, and strategic thinking skills
• Proven ability to translate business needs into scalable technology solutions
