Factory Head

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Factory Head to lead the overall manufacturing operations of our plant. The role is responsible for driving production excellence, operational efficiency, quality, safety, cost optimization, and people management while ensuring the achievement of business objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing leadership with the ability to manage cross-functional teams and deliver continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end factory operations, including Production, Maintenance, Quality, Planning, Stores, and EHS.
• Develop and execute manufacturing strategies aligned with business goals.
• Ensure production targets are achieved while maintaining quality, cost, and delivery commitments.
• Drive operational excellence through Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, TPM, Kaizen, and other continuous improvement initiatives.
• Optimize plant productivity, resource utilization, and manufacturing costs.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and statutory regulations.
• Oversee capacity planning, manpower planning, and production scheduling.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Supply Chain, Engineering, Sales, and Finance teams to ensure seamless operations.
• Monitor plant KPIs, prepare MIS reports, and present performance reviews to senior management.
• Lead, mentor, and develop plant leadership teams and foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Manage plant budgets, capital expenditure projects, and infrastructure development.
• Ensure customer satisfaction through consistent product quality and on-time delivery.
• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Industrial, or Production Engineering.
• MBA/PGDM in Operations Management or Supply Chain Management is preferred.
• 15–25 years of experience in manufacturing operations.
• Minimum 8 years in a senior leadership role managing large-scale manufacturing facilities.
• Experience in Electrical & Electronics, Engineering, Automotive, Industrial Equipment, Consumer Durables, or related manufacturing industries is preferred.
