About the Role

A leading organization in the Manufacturing industry is looking for a strategic and experienced Director – PMO & IT Financial Management to lead enterprise-wide project governance and IT financial strategy.

This executive leadership role will drive large-scale transformation initiatives, strengthen project governance, optimize IT investments, and ensure financial transparency across the IT Service Management lifecycle while enabling business-aligned technology delivery across manufacturing operations.


Key Responsibilities

Enterprise PMO Leadership & Governance

✅ Establish and lead enterprise PMO strategy, governance frameworks, and delivery standards
✅ Oversee complex transformation programs and multi-portfolio delivery using Agile and Waterfall methodologies
✅ Align project execution with organizational and operational manufacturing objectives
✅ Provide executive-level visibility into portfolio health, risks, dependencies, and performance
✅ Drive continuous improvement and operational maturity across PMO practices


IT Financial Strategy & Management

✅ Lead enterprise IT budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
✅ Drive cost optimization, financial transparency, and value realization across IT and digital initiatives
✅ Monitor portfolio financial performance and benefits realization
✅ Partner with Finance and Procurement teams for vendor and cost governance
✅ Implement financial governance supporting strategic investment decisions


Leadership & Stakeholder Management

✅ Act as a trusted advisor to executive leadership on delivery performance and financial health
✅ Lead and mentor PMO, project delivery, and financial management teams
✅ Govern vendor and partner performance within a multi-vendor ecosystem
✅ Enable collaboration between IT, manufacturing operations, and business stakeholders
✅ Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement


Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

✔ Enterprise portfolio delivery success (on-time, on-budget outcomes)
✔ Budget accuracy and forecast variance
✔ Cost optimization & ROI realization
✔ PMO governance adoption and compliance
✔ Stakeholder satisfaction and delivery efficiency


Required Skills & Experience

🔹 15–22 years of experience in enterprise PMO leadership, IT delivery, and financial governance
🔹 Proven experience managing large IT portfolios and digital transformation programs
🔹 Strong expertise in governance frameworks and financial planning
🔹 Hands-on exposure to Agile and Waterfall delivery models
🔹 Strong leadership, analytical, and executive communication skills
🔹 Experience working within large manufacturing or industrial environments preferred


Preferred Tools & Frameworks

• PMO & portfolio tools (Clarity, Azure DevOps, Plutora or similar)
• ITSM platforms (ServiceNow or equivalent)
• Financial reporting & analytics tools
• ITIL and enterprise governance frameworks


Qualifications

🎓 Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, Finance, or Business
🎓 PMP / PRINCE2 / SAFe / Agile certification (preferred)
🎓 ITIL certification (preferred)
🎓 MBA or advanced management qualification strongly preferred
