Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Director – Supply Chain to lead and optimise end-to-end supply chain operations for a leading manufacturing organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Lead strategic sourcing, procurement, vendor development and supplier negotiations.
• Oversee demand forecasting, production planning and inventory management.
• Ensure timely availability of raw materials to support uninterrupted production.
• Manage logistics, warehousing and distribution operations.
• Drive cost optimisation, operational efficiency and process improvements.
• Monitor supplier performance, quality standards and delivery timelines.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, finance, quality and business teams.
• Identify and mitigate supply chain risks.
• Lead, mentor and develop the supply chain team.

Desired Candidate Profile

• B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or a related discipline.
• MBA in Supply Chain Management/Operations will be an added advantage.
• 18–25 years of relevant experience in supply chain management within the manufacturing industry.
• Strong expertise in procurement, strategic sourcing, inventory control and logistics.
• Experience with ERP/SAP systems and supply chain optimisation.
• Excellent leadership, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
