About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Design Director – Architecture & Planning to lead and oversee high-quality design delivery for a US-based company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving design strategy, managing architectural planning, and ensuring excellence across all project stages.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead architectural design and planning for commercial, residential, and mixed-use projects
• Develop and implement design strategies aligned with client and business goals
• Oversee concept development, design documentation, and project execution
• Manage and mentor design teams, ensuring quality and timely delivery
• Coordinate with international clients, consultants, and stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with US codes, standards, and best practices
• Review drawings, presentations, and technical submissions

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Architecture
• 12–18+ years of experience in architecture and design leadership
• Strong experience working on US-based projects
• Proficiency in design tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, etc.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and client management skills
• Strong understanding of architectural planning and detailing

Preferred:

• Experience in handling offshore delivery teams
• Exposure to BIM workflows and digital design processes
