• Qualification:BE/B.Tech in Electrical Engineering

This is a high-impact leadership opportunity for a seasoned executive who can drive operational excellence, build high-performing teams, strengthen governance, and scale a growing infrastructure business into a professionally managed industry leader.

The COO will have full responsibility for delivering sustainable business growth, improving profitability, strengthening project execution, optimizing working capital, and building a scalable organization capable of supporting long-term expansion.

Key Responsibilities

Business & Growth Leadership

• Expand the business in India.

• Drive the company's growth strategy and annual business plans.

• Identify new business opportunities, markets, and strategic partnerships.

• Support expansion into new geographies and business verticals.

• Strengthen customer relationships across utilities, government bodies, EPC contractors, developers, and industrial clients.

Profitability & P&L Ownership

• Own overall business performance, profitability, and cash generation.

• Drive revenue growth while maintaining strong margins.

• Improve working capital management and return on capital employed (ROCE).

• Establish a culture of commercial accountability across the organization.

Operations & Project Execution

• Lead all operational activities across projects and business units.

• Ensure on-time and within-budget project delivery.

• Improve productivity, project planning, resource utilization, and cost control.

• Strengthen quality, safety, risk management, and compliance systems.

Leadership & Organization Development

• Build and mentor a high-performance leadership team.

• Develop succession plans and talent pipelines.

• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

• Drive organizational transformation and professionalization.

Systems, Governance & Performance Management

• Establish robust MIS, ERP, reporting, and performance management systems.

• Implement best practices in project governance, contract management, procurement, and financial controls.

• Create clear KPIs, dashboards, and management-review processes.

• 20 to 25+ years of leadership experience in:

• Power Transmission & Distribution

• EPC Projects

• Electrical Infrastructure

• Utilities

• Energy and Infrastructure Sectors

Candidate Attributes

• Proven business builder and growth leader.

• Strong commercial and financial acumen.

• Exceptional execution and operational management skills.

• Experience managing large teams, projects, and P&L responsibilities.

• Ability to work closely with promoters, boards, customers, and stakeholders.

Education

• Engineering Degree (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil or equivalent).

• MBA preferred but not mandatory.
