Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead the overall operations of an iron and steel manufacturing company. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in manufacturing operations, plant management, business administration, and P&L management, with the ability to independently manage multiple departments and drive business performance.

Key Responsibilities

·        Oversee the overall functioning of the company and manufacturing plant.

·        Manage production, procurement, maintenance, quality, HR, finance, and other departments.

·        Ensure smooth day-to-day operations and independently resolve operational challenges.

·        Monitor production targets, operational costs, productivity, and profitability.

·        Lead department heads and ensure accountability across all functions.

·        Drive operational efficiency, cost optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives.

·        Manage budgeting, resource allocation, and overall business performance.

·        Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, industrial safety standards, and company policies.

·        Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers, vendors, and other stakeholders.

·        Develop business strategies to support sustainable growth and profitability.

Candidate Requirements

·        Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Metallurgical, Production Engineering, or a related discipline.

·        MBA / PGDM in Operations or Business Management will be an added advantage.

·        15–25 years of experience in the iron, steel, or metal manufacturing industry.

·        Proven experience in managing overall plant and business operations.

·        Strong exposure to production, procurement, maintenance, quality, and commercial functions.

·        Experience handling multiple departments and senior-level teams independently.

·        Strong leadership, decision-making, problem-solving, and business management skills.

·        Good understanding of P&L, cost control, and operational efficiency.
