Job Description: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
We are seeking a highly experienced and qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) to join as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO). This leadership role requires strategic thinking, operational expertise, and the ability to drive financial excellence
in a dynamic healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Operations Management
o Oversee and manage day-to-day finance and accounts operations to ensure
smooth functioning and compliance.
o Monitor and improve systems, processes, and internal controls.
2. Billing and TPA Teams Oversight
o Supervise and streamline TPA (Third-Party Administrator) and billing
operations to enhance revenue cycle efficiency.
o Ensure accurate and timely processing of patient billing and claims.
3. Strategic Financial Planning
o Prepare and review financial forecasts, annual budgets (P&L, Capex, and
receivables), and long-term financial strategies.
o Provide insightful financial analysis and recommendations to support decision-
making and project expansions.
4. Compliance and Audits
o Manage statutory, internal, and tax audits, ensuring adherence to regulatory
requirements.
o Oversee GST, TDS, and other tax compliances to avoid financial liabilities.
5. Financial Reporting
o Finalize books of accounts and prepare timely MIS reports for management
review.
o Present monthly and quarterly financial performance reports to stakeholders.
6. Cost and Revenue Control
o Monitor revenue controls, optimize cost management, and identify areas for
financial improvement.
o Implement measures to reduce operational inefficiencies and enhance
profitability.
7. Leadership and Team Management
o Lead, mentor, and motivate finance, accounts, TPA, and billing teams.
o Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning.
8. Miscellaneous
o Reviewing & Presenting Financial reports periodically, monitoring accounts
o Timely submission of MIS driven from financial records.
o Ensuring monthly updation and review of balance sheet items, adherence to
period close check list.
o Analysing performance measures, Cost saving on various expenses.
o Develop and execute business plans. Analysis of speciality wise P&Ls.
o Investigate ways to improve profitability, and analyse markets for business
opportunities.
o EBITDA improvement through focused middle line approach
o To bring focus and ideas for cost/tax optimisation and support the Unit for
improving profit initiatives
o Preparation of Annual Operating Plan and subsequent monthly rolling forecast
& analysis. Budgetary control through variance analysis
o Preparing financial feasibility reports for new projects and/or extension of
ongoing projects evaluation and investment decision on various hospital

Qualifications and Skills
Education: Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with a strong academic record.
Experience:
o 10+ years of relevant experience in finance and accounts, preferably in the
healthcare or services industry.
o Proven track record in financial planning, audits, compliance, and team
leadership.
Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of GST, TDS, Indian Accounting Standards,
and audit practices.
Skills:
o Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
o Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
o Proficiency in financial software and ERP, SAP systems.
