Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced and academically strong Cambridge Coordinator – Primary to lead and support the effective implementation of the Cambridge curriculum across the Primary segment. The ideal candidate should have hands-on exposure to Cambridge Primary teaching, strong curriculum understanding, and the ability to mentor teachers and ensure high-quality classroom practices.
Key Responsibilities

Coordinate the effective implementation of the Cambridge Primary curriculum across the relevant grades and subjects.

Support teachers in planning, delivering, and assessing learning in alignment with Cambridge standards and learning objectives.

Provide academic leadership and mentoring to Primary teachers through regular observations, feedback, lesson planning support, and professional development.

Ensure appropriate use of Cambridge frameworks, schemes of work, resources, assessment tools, and progression pathways.

Monitor student learning outcomes and support teachers in using assessment data to improve teaching and learning.

Coordinate Cambridge-related academic documentation, curriculum mapping, assessments, and reporting.

Facilitate regular curriculum reviews and ensure consistency and continuity across grades.

Conduct or coordinate teacher training and professional development sessions related to Cambridge pedagogy and assessment.

Work closely with the Primary leadership team to identify academic priorities and implement improvement strategies.

Liaise with parents, teachers, and school leadership on curriculum- and learning-related matters when required.

Stay updated with Cambridge International curriculum developments, resources, assessment practices, and professional learning opportunities.

Promote inquiry-based, child-centred, and internationally minded approaches to learning.
Essential Qualifications
-
Cambridge teaching qualification/certification is mandatory, such as a Cambridge Teaching Diploma or relevant Cambridge Professional Development/Teaching Certification.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education or a relevant subject.

Prior teaching experience in the Cambridge Primary curriculum is mandatory.

Experience in academic coordination, curriculum leadership, or teacher mentoring will be strongly preferred.

Strong understanding of Cambridge Primary pedagogy, curriculum frameworks, and assessment practices.

Demonstrated teaching exposure in the Primary segment, preferably within a Cambridge school.

Experience Profile
-
Preferred: 5+ years of teaching or academic experience, including substantial experience with Cambridge Primary, with exposure to curriculum coordination or academic leadership.
Important Requirement

Candidates without a valid Cambridge teaching qualification or certification and hands-on Cambridge Primary teaching experience will not be considered.
